Let me remember, that I am love
It's what I am created of...
For long before I came to be, that someone I know as me
Woven, and then entwined, into such a glorious mystery

Like golden thread devinely spun

Separate, yet an infinite part of, that most magnificent tapestry

I wrote this poem several years ago, and thought I would share it as my 2nd. post. Hope that you like it !

I had a mixture of emotions wildly churning inside me that warm, late summer day, but mainly one of fear. Although not entirely of what, I was to soon experience, for I was with my mambo and knew that she would always protect me. And although grand-mere was a woman fairly small in stature, she feared nothing or no one. No, my greatest fear of all was, that I might somehow disappoint her that day. For I would soon be assisting her, with my first offical space-clearing and blessing, commonly known today as ghost hunting. And would no doubt be encountering " The Lady In Blue," as grand-mere had named her. It was to become one day, that I would always remember !

We were on our way to an area of New Orleans known as the Irish Channel, and I could tell by the strong determination in her stride, that grand-mere meant for us to make it there on time. It was to be her second visit. But just as we rounded the corner leading towards the old three story house, she suddenly pulled me to a stop saying, " Cher she is more afraid than you ! " Although upon seeing the stark look of fear on both faces of the couple out on the front gallery, I wasn't so sure of that, as the warm day began to feel quite chilly. I felt my knees growing even shakier as we climbed the steep steps upward !

They quickly handed over the key, asking that she lock-up when finished. Grand-mere reassured them that after today they could return home, for their unwanted guest would soon be gone. And as the old key turned in the door, I soon found myself standing in a long hall, that opened up to the large, winding staircase that lead to the upstairs floors. I stood as though frozen stiff in one spot, while grand-mere wasting no time at all, started  calling out in french to the entity, saying that we meant her no harm, and gently explaining why she could not stay there. But after getting no reply to that, grand-mere began a low whistle, a familar tune, and one that I knew quite well. It was her I mean business tune, and believe me she meant business !

I heard myself gasp, as I looked up at this blue cloud slowly drifting down towards us, and to my second horror saw the puddle on the floor collecting around my very wet shoes. Ashamed and horrified, I found my legs, and took off running, towards what I thought would be the kitchen, in search of a mop. Upon realizing that the blue cloud was following me, and right on my heels, I collasped into a nearby chair. Grand-mere who always carried a vile of spirits of amonia in her gri-gri, broke it into a hankerchief, and gave me one good strong wiff, which soon revived me. She then lead me outdoors onto a back gallery, where the sun could dry me off some, then went back inside to finish dealing with the mischiveous ghost, that had both embarassed and scared me nearly half to death. I was more than contented to listen to her, and wait outside !

I wasn't so convinced anymore that " The Lady In Blue " was more afraid than me, nor that she was even a lady. After sometime grand-mere came outside laughing, and saying that the coast was all clear. She also told me that our ghost had been terribly lonely, having been told by her husband to wait there, during a fever epidemic in the city. And that upon learning that they were all there waiting for her in the light, she was then very happy to leave the home. I went back inside to help grand-mere finish up with the clearing and blessing, and soon felt all of my dismay turn into pity, for the many long years that she had spent there all alone, missing her family. This blog post is dedicated to " Mambo Mary, " my maternal grandmother, who was not only a wonderfully gifted psychic medium, but also a very loving soul. It is also my way of saying thanks to " The Lady In Blue, " for my very first up-close and personal experience at the age of eleven, with a ghost !

It is astounding to me how the simple act of meeting someone can change one's life...I started writing this blog at least a month ago, and, as John Lennon so succinctly wrote, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans..." and so it is......here I am, in the early part of July feeling quite different about my life than I did last year.  

Just over one year ago, I took my first Reiki Attunement...it changed my life forever. As I sit here, writing, listening to a great Canadian songstress Alanis Morisette sing "Thank-You", a song which is a tribute to the challenges in our paths which transform us and I am feeling Spirit whispering to me... I could never have imagined the path around which my life has wound itself...

I am finding my spiritual family, and a great many of them are here on Spirit Bond.....If you are new to SB, I heartily welcome you...here you will find others like you.  We are searching and finding, loving and feeling, serving and being.  Just like you. 

Do we have all the answers? NO!  Oh, NO!  LOL, we too, are finding our way.  Somehow, it's just so much easier with support and  love.  And friends.  That is who you will find here.  I have.   Espavo, in faith and love and seeking and finding.  Welcome. 

Hello, From My Heart Everyone,

Wow what a ride this is!  How many of us are involved in projects or life itself which we see can have an uplifting effect on the consciousness of humanity?  Probably, all of us.

Well, how's it going?  Are there any challenges?  Of course there are.  How do we stay strong and commited during these times?  It helps if we know that all events are always occurring for us, never to us.

We might find it difficult to accept at times, but there is one thing I believe without question.  We are loved.  That's right; we are loved.  God doesn't take coffee breaks.  There are no breaks in that love.  It's not just when it feels good.  It's all-the-time.

Regardless, of how it looks on the surface, it's occurring for us, not to us.  If you need help in understanding how, I suggest you find your nearest qualified mind/body/spirit counselor.  The answers are there, they're occurring for you.

As a newly attuned Reiki Master I often wonder about my experiences. I can see chakras in full colour before I start chakra balancing. However, an experience with one of my female clients, aged 23, surprised me and left me curious. I could only see her chakras and white light flowing through all of them. None of the other colours were present. I wonder if anyone can help me decipher this experience.

How I love these words of the Sufi poet Rumi. He reminds us that we can return again and again to the well of spirit for what we need. Spirit accepts and loves us for where we are right now, in this moment, which is not always something that we do for ourselves, is it?

I wish I really had something profound to write about, but it's been another ordinary day, and that is not always a bad thing! LOL. This spiritual journey certainly changes how I perceive everything and everyone. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed by it all. This week alone, some new things have happened to make me take notice of how much more I am perceiving from spirit.....A vision one morning of a plane falling from the sky....later that afternoon on the radio, the host was discussing a particular plane crash and what it might mean. That was more than a cooincidence! Monday, the most profound and unexpected feeling of wanting to die, specifically by jumping off a bridge came into me. For the life of me, I couldn't understand where this feeling had come from. It persisted for most of 2 hours. Finally, after asking the angels to help me and to take away this feeling which had settled from nowhere inside of me, they did. The next day, someone in our town, indeed, stood on the bridge and luckily, didn't jump, but came close to it. My sense of clairsentience is growing. I have always known that I could sense others feelings, and could tell a few things by holding objects. It is all growing. My sense of claircognisance is also growing. Little thoughts which come to pass now, are usual. This is all good. I am opening up to it all and trying very hard to relax into it.....it is difficult in a small community to be open to everyone about how I am becoming....that is why I am so glad to be a part of this online community. I grew up in a haunted house and at the age of nine, I started seeing and hearing people no one else could.
I found out real fast, that you keep your mouth shut ,or you get called crazy and picked on a lot.
It was not until I was in my teens that I met someone who was going through the same thing as I was. We started reasurching everything we could get our hands on. It was WONDERFUL to find out I was not crazy!
I was asked by a friend in my early teens to come to there home and see if I could find out what was in there home. It took off from there.
I have been a paranormal Investigator for 34 years now. I love helping the living and the dead.
Well thats my story of why I do what I do.

This Awareness indicates that the action of attuning to an herb with your mind does tap into the vibration of the herb, and when you take the herb orally or use it physically, it is the vibration of the herb that you absorb, and thus, either method can be effective.

 

In some ways it may even be more effective when it is attuned to psychically, because it immediately goes into your aura and your psyche, whereas when it is absorbed physically, it goes into the stomach, is broken down into the bloodstream, and from there goes out to the aura.

 

This Awareness indicates just having some herb in your presence can help you to absorb the vibration also, but the attunement psychically is far more effective.
